Jennifer Landau Rossen, MD is an Attending Physician in the Division of Ophthalmology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She developed a multidisciplinary research team in ocular genetics at her institution including the divisions of ophthalmology, genetics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. This team has instituted a prospective study on ocular genetics including analysis of whole genome sequencing and the development of a bio bank. Dr. Rossen also was instrumental in bringing gene therapy to Lurie Children’s Hospital. She is involved in multiple professional societies as well as serving on a ClinGen expert panel. A particular interest of Dr. Rossen’s is the development of improved genetic testing and analysis of patients with congenital cataracts.
