Dr. Hazlita Dato’ Mohd. Isa is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur. She sub-specialises in Medical Retina (diabetic eye diseases, age related macular degenerations, retina vascular occlusion, etc) and Uveitis (ocular inflammation) as well as manages general eye problems such as cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes, contact lens related eye diseases, lid lesions, refractive errors etc.
Dr. Hazlita graduated medicine (MBChB) from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK and subsequently obtained a Doctorate of Ophthalmology (DrOph) at University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia. Thereafter she completed a PhD in Ophthalmology at the University College London (UCL), UK as well as a fellowship in Uveitis and Medical Retina at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, UK. Dr. Hazlita is also a member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AM Mal) and has been listed on the Malaysia Nasional Specialist Register (Ophthalmology) since 2013. She is certified as a Uveitis and Medical Retina sub-specialist by the Malaysian Ministry of Health.
