She is involved in various research projects and post graduate teaching programmes, Simulated Strabismus Surgery being her favorite topic. She has developed a low cost Squint surgery simulator for teaching resident surgeons and fellows about strabismus surgery and has successfully conducted workshops and hands on training for same.
Her main clinical interests include strabismus in children and adults, childhood cataract, myopia, amblyopia and neuro-ophthalmological
disorders in children. She is also a certified Child psychologist, and takes immense passion in understanding problems of kids. In order to
address the rising issue of digital addiction amongst kids, she is involved in a digital detox programme for kids .
She has numerous publications and scientific presentations in her name. She has presented in various state and national conferences and
an invited faculty for various national and international conferences. Apart from clinical work and academics, she is interested in music and calligraphy in her free time.
