MS from PGIMER, Residency and fellowship trained in the USA, she worked at Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai for 20 years and as the Director Academics for fourteen years of those twenty. She practices Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She was the “Strabismus Keynote’ awardee of WSPOS 2021. She has worked with the ICO and ORBIS on various projects and initiatives in education. She worked with the All India Ophthalmological Society as Chairperson of the ‘Teachers in Ophthalmology’ initiative. She serves as member of the Education committee and Chairperson of the Mentoring Programs subcommittee of the OFEC.
