Professor Biswas is the Clinical Lead for the Paediatric Ophthalmology Service at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and is Chair of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Paediatric Subcommittee. He specializes in paediatric anterior segment disorders and is one of the leading paediatric corneal transplant surgeons in the United Kingdom, receiving referrals from all over the North of England. He provides a wide remit of paediatric anterior segment surgery including congenital and infantile cataracts and paediatric glaucoma. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters covering a wide variety of topics in paediatric ophthalmology and anterior segment diseases.
