Dr Suma Ganesh is presently Director, Pediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus at Dr Shroff’s Charity Eye hospital, Delhi. She did her fellowship in Pediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus at Manhattan Eye and Ear hospital in 2001. She was awarded DR S.D. Athavale award for the best paper in squint at AIOS 2003 and ACOIN award in 2012 for her work in Strabismus in the community. She has presented in many national and international conferences and has 129 peer reviewed publications to her credit. She is Indian Principal Investigator for Project Prakash: Recovery from congenital cataract blindness, NEI/NIH/ICMR Funded project since 2006.
