Dr. Subhadra Jalali has been a consultant since 1993 and current Director of Quality at LVPEI, Hyderabad, India. She was amongst the pioneering Indian women having exclusive Retinal surgery practice. SHe has delivered 800+ lectures in more than 25 countries, prolific writer 200+ publications and 80+ awards/honors. Her crowning glory are the 350+ fellows trained in newborn eye diseases. She is well known globally for her public health care of newborn babies in the Indian twin cities and setting up similar programs in many cities and countries. Her group recently completed care of one lakh babies across the network.
