Prof. Padmaja Sankaridurg is Head, Global Myopia Management, ZEISS VisionCare, Conjoint professor at the School of Optometry and Vision Science, Sydney, Australia, Industry Advisory Board member and a task force Chair of the International Myopia Institute. Prof Sankaridurg has been researching myopia for nearly two decades with a focus on strategies to slow progression of myopia. She has published 100+ peer reviewed articles, is an inventor on many patents/applications, authored several book chapters, supervised many postgraduate students, serves on editorial boards for many journals and has lectured extensively at national and international meetings. She has been instrumental in the development of lenses to slow myopia, practice aids and guidelines including the BHVI Myopia Calculator and the axial length percentile charts.
