Dr. Nurul’Ain graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2005 and obtained a master’s degree in ophthalmology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2016. She undertook a senior clinical fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus in the UK and has been certified for completing subspecialty training in the field of neuro-ophthalmology under the Ministry of Health Malaysia in 2023. Currently, she serves as the Head of the Neuro-ophthalmology Unit at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for several journals, including the British Medical Journal (BMJ), European Journal of Ophthalmology, Malaysian Journal of Medicine and Health Sciences, Journal of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences, and Malaysian Journal Ophthalmology. She lives by the golden rule of ‘working hard, playing hard,’ and when dealing with uncommon and complicated neuro-ophthalmology cases, she believes that every single puzzle has answers and solutions.”
