Isabel Reich-d’Almeida (Lisbon, Portugal), qualified as an Orthoptist at Moorfields Eye Hospital (UK), worked for some years in the British NHS (Moorfields/King’s College). Upon returning, she was Lecturer at the ESTsL (20 years) and completed a Master’s in Neuroscience (ISPA University). President of the Portuguese Association of Orthoptists (APOR), Portuguese and representative at the IOA (1994-2018) and OCE (Communauté Européene), she belongs to various international societies (ISA, ESA, AACO, BIOS) and has lately been invited to integrate the AAPOS/IPOSC orthoptic programs in Africa, having lectured in Nigeria and Gambia. Isabel works privately at her Strabismus Clinic in Lisbon
